SPAM HUNTER
Tracking Spam. Exposing Infrastructure. Measuring Accountability.
Spam Hunter is an independent, evidence-driven project investigating unsolicited email, phishing campaigns, malicious links and the technical infrastructure supporting online abuse.
We track repeated campaigns, identify infrastructure connections, document complaints and measure verified outcomes.
The long-term objective is to publish useful, transparent intelligence about spam activity and the effectiveness of abuse reporting. Spam Hunter is under active development — not every capability described on this page is operational yet.
About
About Spam Hunter
Spam Hunter investigates unwanted email and the technical infrastructure behind it — the servers that send it, the networks that carry it, and the hosting providers and registrars that support the pages it links to.
The project's goal is to make that technical evidence understandable to a general audience while clearly distinguishing verified facts from suspected or unconfirmed activity. Where something cannot yet be verified, this site says so directly rather than presenting a guess as a finding.
Scope
What We Track
Each investigation follows the same evidence chain, from the message itself down to the infrastructure that supported it.
Spam Volume
Total spam emails processed as part of the analysed sample.
Sending Infrastructure
Sending IP addresses and the SMTP infrastructure used to deliver each message.
Autonomous Systems
The Autonomous Systems (ASNs) that originate or carry the observed traffic.
Upstream Networks
Upstream network providers and routing observations for sending infrastructure.
Domains & DNS
Domain registrars and the DNS infrastructure behind linked destinations.
Hosting Providers
Website and cloud hosting providers supporting linked pages and content.
Malicious Links
Malicious links and landing pages observed in analysed messages.
Phishing & Malware
Phishing, credential theft, and suspected malware delivery campaigns.
Repeated Campaigns
Campaigns that recur across messages by sharing the same underlying infrastructure.
Abuse Complaints
Abuse complaints submitted to providers, and the responses they give.
Verified Outcomes
Independently verified takedowns and outcomes — never assumed from silence.

Process
Abuse Accountability
Every case Spam Hunter publishes follows the same evidence and complaint lifecycle:
Identify suspicious activity.
Preserve original evidence.
Verify infrastructure and attribution.
Submit appropriate provider-specific complaints.
Record acknowledgments and responses.
Independently check outcomes.
Publish sanitized, evidence-backed results.
Principles
Transparency and Responsible Reporting
Findings are evidence-backed, not assumed.
Every attribution carries an explicit confidence level.
Sending networks, forwarders, registrars and hosting providers are reported separately, never conflated.
No automatic blame is assigned to operators of shared infrastructure.
Public statistics reflect the analysed sample only — not worldwide spam volumes.
Personal information and original private emails are never published.
Unverified claims and allegations are never presented as established fact.
